⌂ okay, so i’m one of those self-archiving douchecakes who carries ‘round an ideas journal. it’s a kraft brown gridbook - ‘bout eight by fifteen, probs - and despite staying in the same pocket as my cinnamon gum, it always smells like glue and paper and sadness.  truth is, there aren’t many good ideas in my ideas journal. it’s that real sad smell that’s holding me back, i suspect. if cinnamon gum can’t solve this problem, nothing can. thinking about ordering field note’s limited edition transfer cahiers, so that i might press ‘nathan’s happy-smelling, actually excellent ideas’ into my front cover. despite its wes anderson trappings, futura extra bold is totally conducive to creative self-agency, right?
